Queso Fundido with Chorizo

Ingredients

  • 14oz Tío Francisco Queso Oaxaca
  • 7oz chorizo
  • 1 tbsp onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat and add the chorizo and onion.
  2. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Lower the heat, add in the cheese and cover.
  4. Let the Tío Francisco Queso Oaxaca melt and remove from the heat.
  5. Serve with tortillas or tortilla chips.

 

NOTES:

Cook on very low heat to avoid burning the bottom. You may also melt the cheese in the oven.
