Molletes with Queso Oaxaca

Ingredients

  • 2 Bolillos or 2 slices of your choice of white bread cut in half  *1 bolillo per 2 servings
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup of Tío Francisco Queso Oaxaca, shredded
  • 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • Pico de Gallo & Tío Francisco Crema Crentroamericana for garnish and topping

Instructions

  1. Place a skillet on the stove with medium low heat
  2. Once the pan is warm, place the 2 tbsp of butter until melted
  3. Cut the 2 bolillos in half( long ways) so that there are four slices.
  4. Place bolillo slices on skillet for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown
  5. Once they have reached the golden-brown color, remove from heat and scoop ¼ cup of refired beans on each slice and coat evenly
  6. Sprinkle each slice with ¼ cup of Tío Francisco Queso Oaxaca,
  7. Preheat your oven to 400°F
  8. Place your molletes in the oven until the cheese has melted!
  9. Remove from the oven, place on a dish, top with Pico de Gallo & Tío Francisco Crema Crentroamericana, and enjoy!
